By better taking into account local weather information
We have demonstrated in a pilot study that we can offer competitive wind power forecasts. The pilot study comprised of both offshore, near-shore and onshore wind parks. For three Danish offshore parks we provide operational forecasts.
We offer continuous research-based innovation for the European energy sector. We leverage improvements in forecasting to make the energy market more efficient, from the day-ahead to the seasonal time scale.
We thus contribute with our meteorological expertise to the transition to Green Energy.
We are two research meteorologists with long experience in meteorological data analysis.
